ALL THE RIGHT FRIENDS , - - - - - in all the wrong places This particular day wasn't exactly warm. It was actually quite rainy outside. The sky was dark with clouds, and the raindrops were falling heavily. Scorpius had only been outside for about two minutes, just long enough for him to get from the castle to the quidditch pitch, and he was already drenched. His hair that usually had that normal messed up look was very wet and flattened against his head. As for his outfit, well, at least it was somewhat prepared for the rain. A pair of jeans and a hoodie, with nothing underneath that hoodie (it was zipped up, but part of his bare chest was still visible), and sneakers, of course. Scorpius would not get sick, and that was all that mattered.
With him, he had a broom (the latest version of the Firebolt) and some mini tennis balls stuffed into his pocket. Once he reached the pitch, with water dripping off of his entire body, Scorpius dropped the broom onto the muddy ground and pulled out a wand. He then pulled out four tiny tennis balls from his pocket and aimed his wand at them while muttering a spell. "Engorgio." The word was barely audible, even to him, due to the loud crackles of thunder in the sky. The tennis balls increased in size, to the point that they were about the same height and weight as a Quaffle.
"Bloody weather." Scorpius muttered to nobody in particular as he looked up at the sky, which was filled with numerous dark clouds. A flash of lightning, just then, passed through the sky as he looked up, blinding him momentarily. He ran a hand through his beautiful wet blond hair, like how he would normally ruffle his hair if it was dry, before letting all but one of the tennis balls fall to the ground. He picked up his muddy broom that was sure to be slippery and hard to stay onto, mounted it, and flew off into the sky with one hand on the broom and one hand on the Quaffle. It was when he threw the ball through the hoops, or so he thought, that he realized that he was not alone.

I never lived in f e a r I knew I'd DIE another day ;;;;;; I n e v e r viewed my life as something, slipping a w a y Rain. Thunder. Snow. A hurricane. The end of the world. Name it, nothing, no, nothing would stop Elanora Rae Wood from going ou to the quidditch field. People had looked at her weird, as she came running down the stairs, in the gryffindor common room. Molly had even called her a 'crazy obsessed fanatic' or something of the kind. Or course, Elanora had only grinned, and waltzed happily out the common room, broom over her shoulder, and a tiny, golden ball in her pocket. Oh, thank you, mom, for that present. What a bad, but wonderful idea you had, to give your daughter a snitch! Of course, what else would you expect, she would play with the thing anytime she could, and had the time to. As she walked towards the field, people stared at her weirdly, but once again, she didn't give a damn about them.
Dressed in dark jeans and a black wifebeater, she had a black and white stripped hoodie over her shoulder, that she slipped on when she got to the large, wooden doors. She pushed it open, and stepped outside, not caring about putting the hood over her head. She jogged through the muddy grass, getting soaked in water in less time then it takes to say 'alohomora'. Her hair was hanging down, straight yet a bit curly due to the water, getting in her hazel eyes. As she got to her destination, Nora couldn't help but to smirk.
Standing in the middle of the field and about to fly up on his broom was none other then Scorpius Malefoy himself. She looked at him as he took off, dropping two quaffle sized tennis balls on the ground. She smirked, straddling her broom, and giving a hard kick to the ground. Sure, her broom wasn't the most recent firebolt, like him, but hell, who cares abuot the broom, if you can fly then the broom doesn't even matther... Or well, that's what her father had told her. It wasn't really that old either, and in rather good condition, but yeah! She squinted her eyes a bit, using one of her hand to brush some hair out of her eyes, just as Scorpius threw the ball towards the hoops. Thunder clapped, and Nora extended her arm as she got infront of the hoops... Catching the quaffle, and smirking slightly at the other. No, she wouldn't admit it... But damn, he looked good in the rain. Hair all sticking to his forehead... And was that skin she could see, right there on his chest?
She laughed slightly, smirking to the other, rolling the ball under her arm. "That was pretty strong, Malfoy. Almost made me topple down." she said, loudly, as to be heard by the other. She knew he was just as obsessed with quidditch as she, herself, was. Tag;; Scorp! Words;; 4 7 4 Notes;; NAICE! XD Outfit;; Hoodie , Jeans , Shoes

ALL THE RIGHT FRIENDS , - - - - - in all the wrong places When Scorpius heard a faint voice, throughout all the crackles of thunder, he realized that the Quaffle might not have gone all the way through, and might have been caught.... by the person behind that faint voice. "That was pretty strong, Malfoy. Almost made me topple down." He zoomed toward the goalposts to see who had said those words (probably a female, judging by the lack of a low tone), and more importantly, to see if the tennis ball had gone in.
Rubbing his eyes with his rough fingers in an attempt to see more clearly, but that didn't help much. It didn't stop the rain from falling, all it did was make him able to barely figure out who the person hovering near the goalposts was. He'd recognize that hair anywhere... it belonged to Elanora. There were times, during quidditch matches, that he'd get a glimpse of her.... but she would usually be moving much too quickly, and he would usually be much too focused, to bother actually looking at each other.
The blond moved forward so he was hovering right next to the other girl, looking her over. The Gryffindor was dressed in a hoodie, much like him, except hers was tighter... just not in a slutty way. Her jeans were tight, though, but Scorpius wasn't complaining about that.... of course, all of her clothes were drenched, along with her pretty hair (his favorite part about the opposite gender was their hair- it was the first thing he noticed), but that didn't seem to stop her. Under her arm was his enlarged tennis ball, which caused a slight smirk to form at the corners of his lips.... wasn't she a seeker, not a keeper?
"You're lucky I wasn't trying hard enough." Scorpius retorted quite simply, his blue eyes shining with amusement. Perhaps this cloudy day was going to get better. With a pretty wet girl like Elanora alone with him, at the quidditch pitch in the rain, something interesting was bound to happen. His words were true, though.... he had just gotten outside and was only warming up. She was just lucky that it was just a warm up and that she caught it, as most of his shots were very hard and quick.
"Aren't you supposed to be a seeker?" Scorpius teased slightly, his smirk becoming more pronounced as he said so. He moved to run a hand through his wet hair, yet again, as he waited to see what the other girl would do. They were very similar, and got along quite well.... but they obviously had some sort of quidditch rivalry, even if it wasn't direct.

I never lived in f e a r I knew I'd DIE another day ;;;;;; I n e v e r viewed my life as something, slipping a w a y Elanora knew Scorpius was probably just as obsessed as her with quidditch. She knew he wanted to become a professional player, and well, Nora thought he would do a good job at it. He was very determined, and from what she had been told form her teams keeper, pretty darned strong. She smirked slightly, squinting her green eyes (Oh, they were always green when it was raining or cloudy... But bring the sun, and boom, she had blue eyes. She just had to love this...) as to see him better, but the pouring rain wasn't really giving her an easy time.
He zoomed towards her, and she looked down to his 'home made' quaffle. smirking a bit. He spoke, and Nora let a laugh escape her throat, shaking her head a bit, water dripping from her hair. She brushed hair out of her eyes again, quirking one of her thing brow, and moving a bit closer to him. She handed him the quaffle, and shrugged her shoulders, a playful smile on her lips. "You really think that intimidates me, Malfoy?" she answered, her voice filled with amusement. Of course, she wasn't trying to challenge him or anything, hell she knew for a fact her could throw really hard... But hey, she was just having fun with someone who shared her interest (Or obsession?).
He spoke again, and Nora couldn't help but to chuckle lowly. Yes, she was a seeker. But that didn't mean she couldn't do anything else then chase a damned golden ball. She was just... The best at doing so. Not that she was REALLY any good of a keeper, but yeah. "Could you really picture me chasing a tiny little gold ball in that weather? Blimey, I'd probably run into one of the goalposts there." she said, pointing her thumb towards them.
Oh, that wasn't completly true. She could remember a match in fifth year, where the weather had given her one hell of a ride. And still, she had managed to catch what she had searched for for about two hours. Sure, it was a pretty hard one, but she had been hella proud of herself! She hadn't seen a thing of the match, what others were doing, and she felt kind of bad for being unable to debrief after the game... But yeah. Nothing's gonna be easy, right? But she wasn't so sure she wanted to actually lose her beloved snitch that exact same day.... Just flying made her feel better, though. She was so much of a clumsy girl when walking, but put her on a broom, and everything was magically better, much better.
The young woman ducked her head a bit and let her eyes wander up to the skies as thunder crashed loudly, resounding against the mountains and the dark brick walls of the castle. She sighed softly, cursing the weather, but quickly looking back to the other boy. She laughed a bit, quirking one of her eyebrows for the hundreth time that day. "Aren't YOU supposed to be inside in such bad weather, Scorpius?" she asked him, using the same tone HE himself had used when he had asked his very own question.

ALL THE RIGHT FRIENDS , - - - - - in all the wrong places Scorpius looked between the girl, Elanora, and the Quaffle as if he was mentally asking her to give him the ball back. And that was exactly what she dd. The blonde took the ball back and said two words that he had been taught to say from day one of his life. "Thank you." It was always important to be polite, whether you liked the other person or not. He didn't have anything against Elanora, not even much Quidditch rivalry since she was a seeker and he a chaser..... they had nothing to do with each other out on the field, except scoring points.
"You really think that intimidates me, Malfoy?" Scorpius wasn't going to try and get her to play Keeper and go all out and hurt her.... he would get in a huge amount of trouble. Elanora was either underestimating his abilities or teasing him, either way, it wasn't going to work out well for her if they ended up playing. "Nope. I know it does." he retorted yet again, moving the tennis ball from under his right arm to under his left so he could adjust his position on his broom, slightly.
"Could you really picture me chasing a tiny little gold ball in that weather? Blimey, I'd probably run into one of the goalposts there." ....the answer to that was yes. Why couldn't she chase it like that? What if the weather was like that during a Quidditch match? They, at Hogwarts, didn't cancel Quidditch matches unless it was an absolute emergency.... they didn't care about the weather. In the professional league, it was the same thing, however, emergencies had a much greater meaning as opposed to a small fire in the locker room or something stupid like that.
The thunder continued crackling, but the girl didn't seem to be phased by it. Niiiice. Scorpius preferred brave girls as opposed to the ones that would freak out over the tiniest thing.... it was far too much work to calm them down and such (not that he wouldn't, he just thought it was too much work). And if Elanora was afraid, he couldn't tell by her next words. Excellent, she believed in image.... not the physical kind, but the personality kind. "Aren't YOU supposed to be inside in such bad weather, Scorpius?" was what she asked, in that same tone that he had used with her earlier... that teasing tone.
"Yes. I'm supposed to be, but I feel it is necessary to practice quidditch in weather like this. You never know whether there's going to be thunder or lightning at the next match." Scorpius explained eloquently, examining the expression the female's face.
