SAMPLE;it was way too early in the morning but cameron had reasoned the night before that it would be best to go early. the pet shop was in the center of town and it had seemed to cameron everywhere in town except in mocha house religious shut down at five in the afternoon. earlier was better despite the fact he found himself to be brain dead as he rolled out of bed at ten forty-five. cam found a blue striped t-shirt in his draw, slipped on his baggy jeans, quickly clicked his belt in place, and grabbed his hoodie off the floor. it had never taken cameron long to get dressed to go anywhere. he had never been one to give a damn about vanity. the bathroom was his next stop where cam brushed his teeth and combed his dark blonde hair. he was ready to rumble now.
cameron left from student housing and found his car in the student parking lot. he chose to live on the schools grounds rather than commute from his grandparents house. he luckily had a parking place right in front of the dorms and his car was sitting there waiting for him. cam grabbed his keys out of his pocket and unlocked the grand prix. the car was a piece of shit. it was missing a back window, had a dent in the side, and was muddy all over; but it got him from point a to point b. he entered the driver side of the car, started it with his keys, and began to maneuver his way out of the crowded student parking lot.
on the drive over, cam's eye kept catching the numbers on the clock in excitement. he had always loved spending time with julie although it didn't happen that often. he noticed that the traffic was making him a bit off schedule but hoped that julie wouldn't mind if he was late. cam tried to picture the rest of the day with her and before he knew it he was in an open parking spot at the mocha house.
just being outside the mocha house was a sensory experience to cameron. he could smell the coffee even outside the building. the noises of people talking and indie music the owner liked were radiating to the outdoors and through the window, cameron could see julie. cameron tooks his keys out of the ignition, left his car locked, and went towards the door of the establishment. the door opened with a heavy push and closed quite loudly. an employee smiled at cameron and said hello. a simple nod of head was a sign of hello coming back from cameron. it took him just a moment to walk over to the table where julie was sitting at. she had just placed some small object in her bag.
"you haven't been waiting long, have you?" cameron asked as he slid into the chair across from julie and began to remove his hoodie. the mocha house was always kept comfortably warm but with a hoodie it was too much. he placed his gray hoodie on the back of his chair before gracing julie with a smile. he looked over her brownish-red hair, flannel shirt, and skinny jeans. julie observed the same style as most of the girls cam hung around but looked hell of a lot better with little effort. "will you ever forgive me?"
